Home Screen/Dashboard
The first screen displayed once a user logs into defenderData is the Home screen displayed here. This screen is intended to bring information forward to the user that would most likely be of interest. The home screen shows information relevant to their activity in the system and personal user preferences. While the system would be completely functional without the home screen, many of the most commonly used functions are placed here to facilitate more rapid navigation through the system.
Users can select any of their recently viewed cases with a single click and jump back into a case file that they've recently accessed. Reports that are commonly used are made available directly from the home screen so as to minimize the time it takes to access reports useful to each user. Upcoming hearing information for a single, or multiple individuals is displayed on the home screen for quick reference to events in the near future. Ticklers are prominently shown ensuring that important dates are not missed. Alerts carrying important case notifications along with other tasks are also shown on the home screen. Any documents that need to be generated are listed so that the user will never forget to create and mail a document for which rules predefined in the system dictate are necessary.
Ultimately, the home screen is a central launch pad for many important aspects of the system and provides a glimpse at the many functions available within defenderData described within this document.
